Short Story Composition

Basics of Algebra 1

Art

A fun art class, where students will be able to express their artistic talents and learn about simple, yet intricate designs and details.
Middle School Competition Math
This class will teach students math concepts and tricks that will help them in multiple math competitions. In this class, students will also be given practice problems to practice the math concepts learned in each class. After this class students should be more prepared to take on challenges in math and become passionate math enthusiasts.

In this class, students will be exploring the nature of ecology and cells. The goal of this class is to introduce the students to the fundamentals of biology and to prepare them for 9th grade. Having middle school level knowledge of biology is required.
Genetics

Students learn the base science for how humans differ from one another and this course sets them up for genetics as a beginning highschool course.
English/Language Comprehension
We will focus on trying to read different types of writing pieces in English. We will read fiction, non-fiction, poems, and hopefully also a chapter book. This class will focus on different ways of comprehending to learn not just what you think of a text, but also how other's might view it.

This is a basic math class where we will be going over basic math skills for 4th-6th graders. It is a great review for those who would like one and a great exploring class for those who want to be a bit challenged. We will try to learn basic skills and understand the math skills taught through 4-6th grade. One big portion will be pre-algebra and the introduction of variables. THis class will also be flexible to the students if there is something they want to specifically learn or go in-depth about specific topics.

This is a beginning class teaching the basics of Robotics. Students do not prior knowledge of robotics, and will proceed to build a virtual robot and code it to complete tasks.

Classical Western Singing

Students will be learning how to sing classical-Western music & incorporate this style into modern-day songs. They will also learn how to sing with harmony, which comes in handy for choir & singing along with others. The sessions will start with warm-ups & vocal exercises to improve the students' voice & technique. Then, we will move on to the actual singing piece.
Dance (Bharatnatyam)
